A Note About the Exhibitfrom Lisa Bunker This exhibit was the result of an internship with University of Arizona Special Collections Librarian Bonnie Travers while I was a graduate student at the School of Information Resources and Library Science. Over 200 books, photographs, and news clippings were exhibited at two separate locations: from May 10 - July 10, 2001 at the University of Arizona Library, and from August 15 - September 14, 2001 at the Tucson-Pima Public Library. The University's reception was graced by Gerda Weissmann Klein, the author of All But My Life, and her husband and Kurt Klein. Recently the Kleins have co-authored a collection of their correspondence entitled: The Hours After, Letters of Love and Longing in War's Aftermath. Gerda and Kurt spoke movingly about life before the holocaust and the power of hope. Kurt's speech will soon be available on this website. Original
